Initial Assessment and Referral (IAR) for Mental Healthcare Training
Overview
We are delivering workshops about the Initial Assessment and Referral-Decision Support Tool (IAR-DST) – A mental health initiative developed by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. The training is focussed on using the online Decision Support Tool (DST), a standardised and evidence-based mental health support tool designed to guide clinical judgement for mental healthcare. GPs and other providers from our region are invited to participate in training to learn about, embed and utilise IAR and the DST. Our IAR Training and Support Officer will facilitate both workshops.
A one-off $300 (GST exclusive) payment is available for GPs only who complete IAR-DST training. RACGP CPD and ACRRM hours apply.
