What your PHN does
Primary Health Networks (PHNs) commenced operation in July 2015.
PHNs have the important task of improving the health of our region by making it easier for patients to access the primary healthcare services they need, better linking local GPs, nursing and other health professionals, hospitals and aged care, and maintaining up to date local service directories.
PHNs support and work in collaboration with General Practice and the many other health providers and organisations across the region in a very hands on role that is making a tangible difference to the health of our community.
