Expressive Therapies EOI

We are seeking expressions of interest from suitable mental health practitioners or allied health professionals with clinical experience to deliver expressive therapies across the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow, and Penrith regions. Expressive therapies use creative processes and expression as a therapeutic way to improve a person's wellbeing, including their mental health. This type of therapy can help people manage difficult behaviours and feelings, reduce stress, and improve self-esteem.

The Expressive Therapy Program which successful applicants propose to deliver must complement existing structured clinical psychological therapy programs in the Nepean Blue Mountains region and can include the following types of therapies:

  • visual arts
  • dance and movement
  • sandplay
  • drama
  • writing
  • expressive therapies that are unique and specific to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • other alternative therapy such as animal and pet therapy

Applicants may apply to deliver one or two therapy programs with funding up to $50,000 available per program.

Visit the Tenderlink to submit and EOI and to know more. Submissions close on Wednesday, 8 May 2024.
